Chunky Tuna Lettuce Tacos
This recipe really give you a meaty texture with the tuna, the flavour even tricks you slightly into thinking you're eating off the land rather than the sea.
We spiced things up and served this with an American bbq spread but definitely the kinda thing you will want to enjoy on any hot summer day! This Might not be your usual go to dish for tuna, but let me tell you, you just have to make it once you will be making it again and again.
Bloody Delicious!
Ingredients: 500g fresh tuna (large dice) 1 red capsicum (diced) 1 Spanish onion (diced) 3 cloves of garlic (chopped) 1 tbs paprika 1 tbs your favourite red BBQ rub 2 limes juiced 50ml extra virgin olive oil 1/2 bunch coriander (chopped) Salt to taste
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Don’t forget to taste taste taste, keep adding small amounts of salt until you’re satisfied its perfect.
To serve:
Place clean coz leaves on the plate
Sour cream on the side for spreading
Toasted garlic chips and sesame seeds on top
