Fish Tartare
It’s no secret that we love fish! Especially raw fish, when it’s this fresh; there is no better way! We’re always coming up with fun combinations and in the process we created this little gem. Definitely a keeper.
F͟i͟s͟h͟ T͟a͟r͟t͟a͟r͟e͟
Ingredients:
200g Travelly or Queenfish. (Diced)
200g Spanish Mackerel. (Diced)
200g Tuna. (Diced)
60g Pickled onions (chopped)
50ml Pickled onion juices
1/2 brown onion (fine dice)
2 tbs capers (chopped
2 long red chilli (seeded & chopped)
Parsley (chopped)
Tarragon (chopped)
Chives (chopped)
50ml extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Simply combine all ingredients together and season with salt until all the flavours begin to shine through.
We served this with rice crackers and garlic yoghurt dip.
